Day 1: Arrival – Ho Chi Minh
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Evening enjoy water puppet show, a theatrical gene reflecting the agricultural civilization of thousand years ago. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Can Tho (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive 75km to My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River. On arrival, board a private boat for a boat cruise along one of the Mekong River’s main tributaries to an islet. Once at there, visit some local homes and orchards where you can taste seasonal fruits and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional southern singing. Continue with a sampan ride through palm-shaded creeks. Lunch of Mekong specialties is served at local restaurant. Travel to Can Tho, recognized as the capital city of all Mekong Delta provinces. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 3: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a boat ride along Can Tho River to the well-known Cai Rang floating market where you can view local people selling and buying vegetables, fruits, etc. in daily life. Join them to buy some fruits if you like. Your boat trip goes on through canals and stop over at Cai Nai canal. Continue with a hike for about 2km on the country roads to Cai Da canal viewing daily activities of local peasants en route. Then visit a local market, the 130-year old house and Binh Thuy communal house before driving back to Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive 70km to Cu Chi, famed for its elaborate network of over 200km of three-storey underground tunnels hand-dug by local people during the Vietnam War. Crawl down a tunnel to feel the underground life, and then test your marksmanship with an AK rifle at a local rifle range (optional with surcharge). Drive back to HCMC. Have an afternoon sightseeing tour of HCMC. Visit the Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), the Central Post Office, then have a short walk along the shopping Dong Khoi Street (former Rue Catinat) from Notre Dame Cathedral to the Municipal Theater. Drive to bustling Cho Lon (Chinatown) and stop by the lively Binh Tay wholesales market before visiting Thien Hau Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. Stop over at a lacquer workshop on the way back to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Mui Ne (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive over 200km to Mui Ne, an emerging destination for beach vacationers (Vietnam’s capital of resort). Spend the afternoon relax on the beach. Overnight in Mui Ne.

Day 6: Mui Ne – Phan Rang (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive 145km to Phan Rang. On the way, visit the White Lakes, where snow-white sand dunes reflect themselves in the still water, and colored Mui Ne sand dunes, a perfect place for photographers. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on Ninh Chu beach, an off-the-beaten-track seaside resort for beach vacationers. Overnight in Phan Rang.

Day 7: Phan Rang – Nha Trang (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit Po Klong Giarai Cham Towers, My Nghiep brocade-weaving village and Bau Truc pottery village. Afternoon drive 105km to Nha Trang, one of the most charming coastal towns in Vietnam with a seemingly endless white sandy beach and ocean blue water. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 8: Nha Trang – Tuy Hoa (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour to visit the Long Son Pagoda, Xom Bong Bridge, Po Nagar Cham Towers and go shopping at Dam Market. Afternoon drive 120km to Tuy Hoa, an incredibly beautiful beach with white sand and clear water under the shadows of coconut trees. Overnight in
Tuy Hoa.

Day 9: Tuy Hoa – Qui Nhon (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover Da Dia Rapids with special 35,000 stone columns. Then, drive 110km to Qui Nhon, a new destination for relaxation where romantic seaside resorts with impeccable service can be found via Tay Son Museum, famous for its show of traditional martial arts backed up by battle drums. Overnight in Qui Nhon.

Day 10: Qui Nhon – Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive 300km across picturesque coastal plains to Hoi An. Visit Cham Towers en route. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11: Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, have a walking tour of the ancient town center. Stroll around the Japanese and Chinese Quarters to visit a number of temples, pagodas, communal houses, traditional shops, local market and other places of interest and watch local daily activities, handicraftsmen at work and s lively show of traditional dancing and music. Afternoon relax on the beach or enjoy hotel facilities. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hue (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive 140km to Hue via the scenic, the Pass of Ocean Clouds and fishing village of Lang Co. Stop over in Da Nang to viist the Museum of Cham Sculpture (closed on Monday) with The World’s finest collection of some 300 Cham sculpture exhibits dating from the 7th to the 15th centuries. Overnight in Hue.

Day 13: Hue (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day tour of Hue, a former imperial city of Vietnam ruled by 13 Nguyen dynasties. Explore the Royal Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with geomancy. The tour of Imperial Citadel features Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy annons, Thai Hoa Palace (Palace of Supreme Harmony), and Forbidden Purple City. Optional: royal music at Duyet Thi Duong Theater. Then, transfer to the lively Dong Ba Market by cyclo. In the afternoon, take a boat along Perfume River. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Hon Chen Temple. The last stop is Minh Mang’s Mausoleum. Overnight in Hue.

Day 14: Hue – Dong Hoi (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Dong Hoi. Arrive in Dong Hoi City. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon transfer 45km to Xuan Son ferry landing, and take a boat trip on the Son River to spectacular Phong Nha Cavern recognized as World Natural Heritage site. Overnight in Dong Hoi. Alternative option: Explore Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave, a newly found cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park at Son Trach Commune, Bo Trach District and 60km northwest of Dong Hoi. The whole 31km of this cave was explored and publicly announced by the British cave explorers. The cave is longer than Phong Nha Cave and the limestone formation is also considered more spectacular than that of Phong Nha Cave.

Day 15: Dong Hoi – Vinh (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free at leisure. In the afternoon travel 200km to Vinh leaving behind paddy fields, wild sand dunes and stunning passes. Overnight in Vinh.

Day 16: Vinh – Ninh Binh (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to President Hochiminh’s birth home in Kim Lien Village, where farm houses made of bamboo and palm leaves over 100 years ago are restored. Afternoon drive 200km to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 17: Ninh Binh – Nam Dinh – Hai Phong (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning take a sampan ride to Trang An, known as Vietnam’s “Inland Ha Long Bay”. Paddle through nine enormous caves. Then, visit the Dinh and Le dynasty temples in Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam (968 – 1009). Move onwards to the Bai Dinh pagoda with a biggest bronze statue of Buddha in Vietnam, weighing 100 tons, three bronze statues featuring three tenses – Past, Present and Future – weighing 50 tons each, a largest bronze 36-ton bell and 500 white-stone Arahat statues. Then, drive 125km to Hai Phong. Overnight in Hai Phong.

Day 18: Hai Phong – Ha Long (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Have a short sightseeing tour of Hai Phong. Visit the Du Hang Pagoda and Hang Kenh Communal House. Then, leave Hai Phong for Ha Long (70km). Afternoon embark a traditional-style wooden boat for a 5-hour cruise around the wondrous Ha Long Bay, a World Natural Heritage site listed by UNESCO in 1994. Enjoy the spectacular sight of magical grottoes, marvel at odd-shaped island and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Lunch of fresh seafood is served while cruising. Overnight in Ha Long.

Day 19: Ha Long – Ha Noi (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning overland to Hanoi via the But Thap Pagoda on the way. Afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour which features Hanoi’s cultural and historical highlights.Take a photo stop in fornt of Hochiminh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, and Presidential Palace. Then, visit the Hochiminh President House and One-Pillared Pagoda. Continue to visit the Literature Temple (stop over at Flag Tower). Pay visits to the Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Retrun to Hanoi downtown through Ceramic Street. Stop at Dong Xuan Market for shopping. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 20: Ha Noi – Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure for relax or go shopping until transfer to the airport for the departure flight. End of service.
